Many of our participants are new to fundraising, but don’t worry, getting started is easy. Here are a few tips to help you along the way:
Personalize your fundraising page with a photo and your story. This helps your donors know why this is important to you and why they should support you.
Set a meaningful goal… that might be $222 because 2 is your lucky number or $1500 to mark your loved one being cancer free for 15 years. It’s up to you!
Send emails out to friends and family through your fundraising page. It's all about connecting with circle and showing them how they can make a real-life impact. Give everyone the opportunity to make a difference.
Get your first donation today. Just ask! Getting that first donation sets everything in motion, and after that it’ll be easier than you think to reach your goals.
Post your progress on social media. People love keeping track of success and enjoy being a part of it.
