Families can trust us with their financial and emotional needs; we are a safe place during the most vulnerable time of their lives.
With every family we take time to listen and understand what they need because we’ve been there.
We conduct business openly; we provide reliable information about the performance, financial position, and governance of our organization.
We partner with social workers and patient navigators at every hospital in Michigan to identify families in need.
We provide help quickly because the shock of cancer is immediate. Every decision is guided by the needs of the families we serve.
We strive to provide support to underserved and under-resourced communities throughout Michigan.
New Day works in partnership with Michigan hospitals and cancer centers to help families alleviate financial toxicity, a harmful side effect that creates significant barriers to treatment and healing. Regardless of socio-economic status, financial toxicity can lead to crippling debt, bankruptcy and disruption to medical treatment, resulting in poor quality of life and reduced chance of overall survival.
