Get Help

New Day provides financial support for everyday living expenses and emotional support so that families can focus on what matters — healing and wellness.

New Day’s approach to reducing the financial burden of cancer includes three core programs:

Financial Assistance

New Day pays critical everyday living expenses for families with a pediatric or adult cancer patient in active treatment. Payments are made directly to creditors for mortgage/rent, utilities, insurance, transportation, fuel, childcare, and more.

Applications must be submitted through a hospital social worker or financial navigator. All bills are paid directly to creditors.

Emotional Support

New Day provides a broad spectrum of emotional support services — from providing a listening ear to partnering with licensed therapists.

We also have a list of recommended books and links to other organizations that may be helpful.

Grocery Support

New Day began our grocery program in April 2020 to address food insecurities and to minimize stress for cancer patients during COVID.

Today we offer a variety of food support options for individuals in active cancer treatment.
