
New Day NEXT is a group of accomplished and motivated young professionals who are looking to give back to our community. By participating, members improve the lives of Michigan cancer patients and their families through events, fundraising opportunities, advocacy, and volunteering all while growing their professional network.
So if you’re a recent grad or a seasoned professional, a Michigander for life or just passing through, this is the place to make connections while making a difference. Whether you have a personal connection to cancer or if you are simply motivated to create radical good in our community, we have something for you at New Day NEXT.

Katie is the Chief Marketing Officer at BSP Law in Troy, Michigan. She brings 10+ years of marketing and events expertise to the New Day NEXT Board of Directors. She earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from Walsh College. She is married to her high school sweetheart and they have a beautiful daughter, Reagan Jean. They enjoy spending their summer weekends on Lake St. Clair. She is supporting New Day in honor of her cousin who passed of Leukemia at the age of eleven.
Sarah is the Chief Growth Officer at Lambert & Co. and TiiCKER, a Fintech startup that specializes in providing cutting-edge technology solutions to public companies. She is a strategic thinker with a knack for identifying new market opportunities. Her superpower is developing strategic partnerships with companies and organizations. Sarah lives in Lake Orion with her husband Jeremy, son Parker and feisty husky, Memphis. She serves on an advisory board for the Special Olympics of Michigan and is a guest lecturer at her alma mater, Oakland University. She is supporting New Day in honor of her late Grandparents and her mentor, coach, and BFF, Joel Stern.
Danielle is the Vice President of Employee Health & Benefits for Marsh McLennan Agency in Troy, Michigan where she works with middle market clients. Danielle’s prior experience includes directing the charitable giving for foundations and high-net-worth individuals. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Oakland University. Danielle is married with two daughters and enjoys vacationing in the mountains, wine tasting and cooking. She is supporting New Day in honor or her Grandmother who passed away from breast cancer, as well as her father-in-law and cousin-in-law who are currently battling other forms.
Jordann is an Advisor and Chief Client Experience Officer at Synergy Capital Solutions in Bloomfield Hills, MI. Jordann works with individuals and families to help them achieve their financial goals through relationship management, investment planning, and asset-management strategies. Jordann received a bachelor’s degree in Finance from The Broad College of Business at Michigan State University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER practitioner. She enjoys spending her spare time with her husband and two young sons. She is passionate about New Day in honor of her Aunt, Kathy Janssen, who passed away after a two-year battle with breast cancer.
