SandCastles, featuring Camp Erin

The SandCastles is a Non-Profit Organization founded in 1997 that offers support groups and Camp Erin, which is a week long camping retreat for children ages 3-18 who have experienced a loss.

Shields of Hope

Shields of Hope is a run by local public safety professionals in the West Michigan area. The mission is to spread hope, love and encouragement to those in the local community affected by cancer. They will visit families to let them know they’re not in the fight alone.

What’s Your Grief

What’s Your Grief knows there is no “right” way to cope with grief. Their goal is to create a community that provides hope, support, and education to anyone wishing to understand the experience of life after loss. What’s Your Grief also offers continuing education training for grief support professionals.

Wings for Widows is a non-profit 501c3 that provides personalized financial wellness coaching to help widows move forward with confidence and hope.

Chemo Angels

The Chemo Angels is a Volunteer Organization that matches patients with the support of an Angel throughout their journey.  Your Angel will send uplifting messages, supportive words and lots of positive energy. The encouragement these Angels provide gives the comfort of knowing you are not alone in your fight.

CaringOn

CaringOn provides a way for patients to express their gratitude to their caregivers by gifting them with time to themselves. This can include anything from a few hours to sleep in a hotel to spa services, dinner and a show. This respite provides the Caregiver with time to refresh, recharge and come back rejuvenated.

Cancer Hope Network

Free one-on-one confidential support to all people impacted by cancer, from diagnosis through survivorship. They provide support via volunteers who faced similar experiences who are matched to those needing services. The process instills hope and makes a positive difference in the lives of people touched by cancer.

Tigerlily Foundation

Tigerlily Foundation educates and empowers women of all backgrounds, including those at heightened risk, those facing health disparities, and those with less access to care. Tigerlily strives to improve the quality of life for breast cancer survivors.

Kids Kicking Cancer

The Kids Kicking Cancer offers weekly classes in mind-body techniques found in the martial arts to children affected by cancer. Their martial arts-based meditative techniques have proven successful in reducing pain and stress in children with cancer and other chronic illnesses, as well as their otherwise healthy siblings.
